王洪光博士应邀参会并宣读了题为“Multiple Conclusion Logic of Paradox LP+: A Philosophical Review”的英文论文。
本次研讨会受北京大学研究生院“研究生教育创新计划”和外国哲学研究所共同资助，工作语言为英语，不设翻译。与会30余位学者，来自美国、德国、荷兰、芬兰、意大利、澳大利亚、南非、日本、菲律宾，以及中国台湾、香港和内地。
Abstract: This paper is devoted to a philosophical review of LP+, the multiple-conclusion version of ‘logic of paradox’. It will focus on the following three aspects. First, the philosophical motivation, or why the dialetheists should need LP+.Secondly, the explanation of LP+ and its applications, especially of the validity of multiple conclusion forms of the important LP-invalid inferences such as modus ponens (abbreviated to MP).Thirdly, philosophical comments on the applications of LP+, where I propose a distinction between Aristotelian/Anti-Aristotelian logic, in virtue of ‘logic shift’, why dialetheists take ‘reject inconsistency’ as their ‘rationality principle’ in their reading of MP-like reasoning is rational in spite of the invalidity of MP will become accessible.
